In Vietnam, there are many Japanese restaurants in addition to popularity in Japan. We have many stores in Ho Chi Minh, especially in the south.
Many Japanese restaurants are advertising on free papers for Japanese.
However, compared with Singapore and Thailand, there are not too many.
Japanese residents living in Japan are said to have 8,000 in Hanoi and

others.
For this reason, there were many developments by borrowing from the Vietnamese
people and franchising. After that, due to the commitment with WHO, entry
into the restaurant business was approved in 2015 from 100% foreign capital.
Later, the expansion of Japanese companies has increased.
However, many Japanese chain shops that are currently in the business have
a franchise agreement, give a trademark and know-how to Vietnamese companies,
and become a company that earns royalty income.
The reason is to suppress the risk of opening a store. There is also a
format that enters as a tenant such as a shopping mall in the form of a
franchise.
Trust is very important for borrowing and joint venture with Vietnamese
people. There is also an example that acquires only know-how from a Japanese
company, it becomes independent and arbitrary operation and becomes trouble.
To obtain royalty revenue for trademark rights and know-how, paying attention
is necessary because it is subject to foreign policyholder tax.
Eating and drinking establishments in Japan may be hiring foreigners due
to lack of talent, but recently Vietnamese people are rapidly increasing.
Some Vietnamese students come to study abroad with a part time job in Japan
as a set.
By holding a store in Vietnam, we can increase the awareness of Vietnamese
people and we can expect a synergistic effect of working at a Japanese
store at the time of study abroad in Japan due to its effect. Also, after
returning to Vietnam, someone who worked in Japan could leave the operation
