New Technology Transfer Law no 07/2017/QH14 was issued. The main contents are as following:
1. Technology Transfer Registration
The transfer agreement about transferring technology from oversea to Vietnam
or reserve according to specified conditions prescribed by law (investment
project, capital contribution by technology, franchise, etc.) is required
to register with the competent authority.
2. Audit for technology transfer price
The technology transfer price between related parties shall be audited.
However, detailed guidance by the government has not been issued yet.
